Great shots from an exotic location. I know that in years past, many trans-Pacific flights made fuel stops at ANC. My favorite is the shot with the fall foliage. Reminds me it'll soon be time for leaf peepin'.

This weekend was rainy, and not the prettiest, but I had to make dew with what I had.

cool, cool, looking forward to my next ANC turn !!!
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

@Just_Lucas I am using a Canon EOS 60D with a 100-400mm and 18-135mm, I personally don't consider ANC to be that busy, but when there is action it brings in some Orient 747s and a few other heavies, but between those we get Eras, Grants, and Alaska's. Just let me know when you are in town.

    Excellent day today at Anchorage.

Kalitta Air 747-200F taking her rotation long.

Everts Air DC-6 resting since Sunday Everts is closed.

Head on with the mega Dreamlifter.
