WTC Tribute in Lights

I took a ride down to Brooklyn last night with a buddy, here are a few of the images that I took:

I took a shot at an HDR which brought out the stars:

Images 7 and 8 are the same image, 7 is the raw and 8 is a jpeg. The raw is more vibrant however, it seems to be a noisier image. I don't have a lot of experience with raw and just may be missing a step or two.
