    What's In Your Wallet?

No, seriously, what's in your wallet?

I realized that even without junk, I carry too much stuff in my wallet. It's rather bulky and I'd like to trim it down a bit but it won't be easy to part with some items. I have two credit cards, two bank cards, a metrocard, transitchek card, driver's license, dispatch license, PBA cardmedical card, dental card, valued shopper cards for KeyFood and Duane Reade, cash and a couple business cards.

I'm thinking about just getting a money clip or something.

What do you have and carry?

A little more extensive for me I guess. Drivers License, 2 credit cards, ATM card, 2 warehouse club cards, medical insurance card, CPR card, union card, AAA card, ETCP card for work, timecard, and a couple loyalty program cards (rather them in my wallet then with my key ring, THAT is too big). Plus a small amount of cash of course. The whole thing is 1 3/8" thick.

Normally organ donor card, drivers license, credit card, debit card, insurance card (dental and regular medical), library card, zoo membership card, transit system cards from Boston, Chicago, San Fran, DC, LA, and Seattle; and handful of various gift cards, a letter from my wife, about 10 NYCA biz cards, 2 day job biz cards, and currently 40Birr and $15US (typically no cash).
I took out a lot of it out recently for a trip and haven’t put most of it back in yet…I haven’t determined whether or not I will. It’s about half the size and weight it used to be…and I sort of like it.

Money in Money Clip (magnetic, can't stand spring loaded ones) never in wallet.

For wallet, I don't like large so a single small fold with two sides. 3 Credit Cards, 1 Bank Card, Driver's Lic., Registration, Wave Hill Membership, Loyalty Cards for Stop N Shop, CVS, Pathmark. Aetna Dental Insurance Card, Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical Insurance Card, Work HID card and Membership cards for Costco and Bally's. Oh, also, MetroCard :-)

I remember when 60 minutes interviewed Warren Buffet and the reporter asked this very question (well, what's in your pockets right now) and he produced a total of like $200 bucks

Being red and all, it's probably not important.

Wallets went out long time ago. Like Constanza in the Seinfeld episode. I use a money clip. License and bank card and cash.

I had so much crap in my old wallet people were constantly riding my a** about it. I switched to a new one and keep very little in it, the mountain of business cards(most of which were given to me years ago) is finally gone and I don't look like I have a brick in my front pocket anymore.

Nick is the king of cool and the setter of trends. ;)

Otherwise I think Moose wins as having the most stuff in a wallet!
