    Hevey Metal at Boeing

Bruce Dickinson recently paid a visit to Boeing's training facility in Washington.

Not too long ago, he also purchased a maintenance facility in the UK.

We recently watched the Iron Maiden tour video where he flies his band around the world in "Ed Force One". I had no idea Bruce was a pilot, much less one with a commercial rating. I was blown away.

If you're any kind of a fan of heavy metal music, you have to watch the movie. It's excellent, and the flying scenes are the icing on the cake. We ran it through the stereo and the sound of their concerts was incredible. I've seen over a hundred concerts but unfortunately never went to see Maiden so it was a real treat.

    Thanks for posting!

I think your referring to the film Flight 666. I remember watching it (or a promo) on cable a few years ago. I too was blown away. I heard Astraeus, the UK charter airline he flew for and where they commissioned the 757 from is now defunct. However for a few dollars you can have your very own replica here:

Funny, I too never saw them live ! Maybe next time around.

How I posted this under Photography I'll never know. No wonder I couldn't find it.
