    KFLL - 8/2/2012

Alaska Airlines has quietly stopped its MIA service and is now operating to FLL - this was the departure back to SEA this morning.

Where did you take that? Or is that airside?

Also, I'm around for the rest of the month if you want to get together at FLL or MIA.

Anyone have the type of access to Alaska that might tell if and when the special schemes on the -800's might be coming to FLL??? :)

I've been there a few times and still can't figure out how you positioned yourself, haha. You'll have to show me. Weekdays work for me now, since I'm far less busy than I have been the last few months!

There's a large, wide open area with a loudspeaker tuned to the tower frequency. It's on the NYCA spotting map I believe.

Yeah, I meant I've been to the viewing park, but I still can't figure out how he got the highway bridge in the background based on how the fence is oriented.

Ahhh...now I know what you mean - you know that barrier that is close to the fence - the 4th pylon down is perfect to stand on - with my height - I can shoot over the fence :)

N558AS? Or another one with the lei?

When I said same plane, I literally meant, the exact same plane. N558AS.
