    Word is that General James Mattis, USMC, commander of US Central Command, was on board. The flight was bringing him and his staff home from "Over There" to his HQ at McDill. Oops...

    With the cutbacks in air show funding, AMC has decided to perform assault landing demos at random airfields to demonstrate the capabilities of the C-17.
