looks like isolated storms predicted for Friday, let's hope they don't get too organized before the show ends

I'll be on the beach Thurs. in front of Trump at the waters edge with the wife and radios and cameras. I'll be wearing a US Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound cap and an AC 177th FW tank top.
Fri. I'll be on Bally's pool deck on the roof.
Anybody care to meet and greet, we can trade notes.
Any one need scanner frequencies, let me know before 22:00 tonight. Going to bed and leaving at 05:00 in the morning so I won't be able to get back to you after that.

I will be heading down with the wife and daughter Friday morning.

The AC Express is usually bottlenecked as it enters the city so this time I will try the Black Horse Pike. We find a spot on the beach near the Chelsea Hotel.

Anyone know how the BH Pike is for entering on show day?

    Thanks,

    AJ

I usually take the AC Expressway any time I go into AC, airshow or not. Drops me right off by Trump Plaza and Caesars and all that. I went down the Black Horse Pike once and I totally felt lost.

My recommendation is to take the Expressway... and to be honest, get there as early as you can. Since it's on a Friday (with Thursday practice), I think this show will break the one million mark for attendance. I wouldn't try getting a good spot on the beach if you plan on getting there after 8:30-8:45...

Surprises? I know of one... pretty sure my best friend told me of the other. These are airplanes that have never flown at an Atlantic City show...

Good info, thanks. My wish for the "surprise" would be something commercial, how 'bout a 787 or the super guppy 747.

Have a great time everyone that is going. Last year at the practice show we got hit with such a heavy downpour that it cut the practice down to only a few performers. Sadly, I have to miss this years show.

The haze is horrible. Worst I've seen in a long time. Hopefully it burns off
