    JFK 7/14/2012

I spent a little time out at JFK this afternoon, caught some arrivals at Firestone, then over to The Mounds after the runway switch. Mostly the usual suspects, but I did add a new jetBlue E-190 to my collection...

    Kalitta brought a 744F today

I still think it looks like a giant Easter egg!

I was amazed at how overgrown The Mounds have gotten. I stayed down around the soccer field, and had to pick my spots to shoot between the trees - I would have needed a machete to go up on the hill, and the path around the end to the burned out area had grown up quite a bit as well.

When I was over at Firestone, there were two guys sitting on the deck at Panera looking to be having lunch while doing some shooting. Before I had a chance to walk over, they left, in a car with Mass plates. They waved as they drove past me, but didn't stop. If you're on here, please say hello next time!

Moose, it [is] a giant Easter egg but I don;t see your add-on ... If you mention it, you must post it!

Hey Moose nice catches, that Kalitta 744F looks like a former passenger 744- I don't think they made any 744F's with the stretched upper deck did they?

    This is 744

Kalitta seems to have 7 of the type with at least 3 being former JAL and one Malaysian that I can find.
