    JFK - 7/6/2012

Stepped out early this morning and met two fellow spotters from Boston (Rich (AA757) and Chris) at Baywaters. It was a pleasure meeting you both!!! Manny was at Bayswater as well getting eaten alive by the bugs. Rich, Chris and I stayed in the shade down one of the blocks by the wall. Here are a few images from my outting.

Rich, Chris and Manny.........I just made it in time to North Woodmere to catch the Air Canada Jazz Star Alliance departing (which I missed shooting the arrival at Bayswater)

    Great photos!

Looks like you got some of the same arriving aircraft I got from my porch, only closer. Nice!

Nice to finally meet Rich and Chris from Boston! Mark, as always, too short :-(

So far, my only contribution as I was not really able to edit any pics last night. Gotta love the classic advanced B722

Thanks Mark... I am jealous of your 748F banking shot All I could manage was a rocket shot from "the mounds"

By the time she banked, it was too far away from me and heat haze killed it (not that I had a good shot anyway )

Love the 727 ,and -8(my dream machine) shots !!!
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

    Thank you :)

Here are a few more from the early morning.

Oh, and Toyota needs to seriously improve optical quality in their windshields. This is through the window of my car from Costco traffic light on Rockaway Blvd while at the light. The banks off 4L look awesome from here... but FAAAAR!

Thanks Phil. My favorite thing about smoky engines is that you can easily tell when the pilots adjust their approach speed

Sergio, I bet you it was a special drop off. She was not on the ground for long and eventually went to where it should go, EWR!

I love the Fed Ex 727. I got a few shots of her departing that day as well, but they were too heat haze ridden to bother with posting. Beautiful aircraft.
