    MUC 14.06.2012

    Tripreport MUC 14.06.2012

    Hey,

Yesterday I drove in southern direction with the destination Munich (MUC/EDDM) and I arrived there at about 1pm to meet a friend. We stayed till the evening and were able to photograph some pretty cool aircrafts. There is a very special one between all these pictures, but I think you`ll find out ;) Have fun..

It all started with the BA G-EUPA

A few minutes later an EK A380 A6-EDF arrived in MUC

The prince of Thailand left MUC on the southern runway

FedEx 757 going for the northern runway

After a long period of hunting ....finally the Tarom 737 YR-BGG

MNG Cargo with several hours delay

LOT Embraer 170 with a special paint for the European soccer championships

Thai Airways 747 in beautiful evening light

    And finally my personal highlight...The DC-8-72 VP-BHS

And again because it is such a beauty

    Do-328 D-CIRP

In this evening light even a KLM Embraer looks impressive

Aer Lingus old colours taxiing for take-off

    Hope you liked it :)
    Greetings

Is that the Thai 737 that had been impounded in Germany at some point last year?

Very nice! Great photos, and quite an interesting collection. Someone is going to have to convince the Prince of Thailand that he needs to visit the UN this year!

Forget the Thai Prince, I'd sacrifice valuable parts of my anatomy to shoot that DC-8 :)

That DC-8 has been to JFK during UN Week before, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see it here again. You may have to make a road trip and hope for the best.

    Hey,

thank you for your positive answers. The prince of Thailand owns two aircrafts (HS-HRH and HS-CMV) but there is always only one of this two in MUC at the same time. This time it was the HS-CMV but it also could have been the other one. I donīt now if they are impounded in MUC but one of them is very often at Munich.

Daniel ..... What a set and collection of aircraft. That DC-8 is really sweet, I hope makes it this year to the UN General Assembly in September
