Maybe they moved to get away from their competition, Air China which uses T1. CAL also recently left T1. Could the reason be the A388's taking up so much space at T1?

The A380s take up as much space as any other plane: One Gate They may use more jetways but on the ramp, no difference.

Are ramp charges for T1 and T4 the same? Saw MUS 587 over the beach on Sunday using VOR 13L Approach.
