    ACARS Search Issues?

    Hello Everybody,

It is quite possible that I have missed something, but it seems like there are issues with the ACARS system or at least the search. I use this website, and I am sure that many of you do, http://www.acarsd.org/acars_search.html

At first I thought it was just a fluke or a coincidence, but I have noticed that there have been no new flights (at least among the aircraft I have searched) on the database since May 17, 2012. Is anybody else having this issue? Is there another website where I can access this info?

I'm keeping an eye out for the SW state flag birds, Shamus, as well as some US specials. Since AS will be flying to PHL in a few weeks, I will be keeping an eye out for the Spirit of Seattle and the Starliner bird. I would hate to miss one of these due to search malfunctioning or another reason.

Thank you all for your help,
    Happy spotting

Same problem here. No idea what's causing the outage.

You can track the US Airways planes on FlightAware, not Alaska or Southwest though.

    For example, here's US's Eagles plane: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N709UW
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

No you can't. Look at how old the data is. US still hasn't adopted ADS-B except on their widebodies, so they aren't tracked.
