    LGA 5-27-12

I had to drop my dad off at LGA this morning, so I stuck around for a while at the marina to catch departures, including his.

Not only was his AirTran flight on the final 717 produced, but it was also the last ever Douglas airframe ever built, in 2006.

    Strobe!

Ok, I need a Southwest expert here. Is this "Free Bags Here" sticker common?

    Also, Beacon!

    LOUD

The one pictured was just about noon, the 11:59am departure to Canton, Ohio. I did see another one at about 10:45 though.

Nice to see the Spirit birds. They will be starting to service Minneapolis this week. I really love the grey livery, the white and blue looks cheap to me.

Yes, they supposedly applied it to over 50 planes in 2010 (starboard/cargo door side only).
