Opa Locka, Ft Fauderdale, HDR - Rainy sunday morning

    Opa Locka, Ft Lauderdale, Fl

I was expecting to see sun and nice blue sky... beach and good looking girls... After beautiful Thursday, Friday was so so... Saturday was unacceptable and Sunday should even exist...

Me and some unnamed Skytypers member been doing some crazy stuff at Opa Locka Airport, but I can;t tell you everything so let me tell you about those HDRs... I walked around in the rain and I was taking some pictures :)

Im not a big fan of HDR photography... I don;t want to offend anyone who love HDR that why I'm not going to say anything else about it :)

The reason why I'm not a big fan of HDR is that so many HDRs is around and 99.9% of those SUCK BALLS !! Because people think that HDR is just a few pictures combined together... BS I've been trying to create HDRs for the last 3 years and after 3 years this is my FIRST so so result, that I don't feel shame to show in public....

I know only few people with awesome HDR skills and I really enyoj their work, and I know one person with just perfect HDR skills....

How many time you saw ALL 8 Thinderbirds parked together huh ?? :)))

People talk about rainy weather being crap for aviation shooting and I totally disagree. It's just a different look and you have to learn to work with it.

To me, there's more emotion in a shot with heavy weather. Higher ISO's yes, but not a dealbreaker

Nice work Chris!!! I agree with MegaTop.........you don't always have to a sunny day. Shooting in the elements provides some unique opportunities.

Spend more time shooting these nice white jets, and less shooting those dark blue ones...
