    787 DCA 5/9

I had the special opportunity today to visit the 787 while it is parked at DCA for the week. I have to say that the aircraft is quite impressive, I can't wait to fly on one!

For anyone in the DC area who has not had the chance to see the aircraft, it is parked right up against the windows of the old terminal and very visible from the walkway connecting Terminal B to Terminal A.

    And yours truly:

After my visit of the 787 I was given a tour of the JetBlue operations at the airport and I took these two shots of the inbound BOS flight:

How did you get in Gordon? The terminal was blocked off when I tried to get shots.

Visits were only available to government and airline employee officials and luckily for me, working with an airline in DC has landed me a few different contacts.

Sure made up for not being able to see the arrival!
