Fat Guy On a Little Runway: Boeing 787 Dreamliner Lands at Reagan National

Great article! I do have one question. When did DCA's Runway 1/19 get extended from 6,869 feet to 7,169 feet??

Wikipedia says it is 7.2k and a lot of other resources say 6.9k. I wonder if most pilots find 300 feet as the difference between going in the drink or staying on solid ground

300' can actually make a pretty good difference...moreso on takeoff than anything else. The official airport diagram calls 1-19 7169' X 150'
