    Scary landings in Bilbao

    Crazy that they still tryed to land the planes with that wind speed..

    I saw that video on CNN yesterday, but they sped up the video so I didn't post it. I would not have enjoyed being on those planes.

    My wife is hiking in that part of Spain right now, she's only complained about rain, hasn't mentioned wind.
    Overheard on JFK TOWER - S Turns are fine, U-Turns are bad....

    Guys, remember that is shot with a 1200mm or so focal length that compresses the scene A LOT. That runway is a lot longr than it seems and those shoots look to be a bit sped up from normal speed which enhances drama. They may be bad looking but may nto be so bad if you were looking at it from the side :)
