I got the first ACARS report this morning around 10:00am and only realized F1 was due in about an hour later. Sent a txt to the boys and planned my escape for it's 5:30 arrival which turned out to be 4:30. Eric will tell you that I almost did not make it due to the traffic ... it was one obstacle after another. I had one arrival to spare I was really hoping for a 13L arrival (it has happened) but ALL European traffic today was going to 22s. Once in a while, AFR6, ETD101 and a few others from Europe have been put on 13 while JFK is on the whacko 13/22 split ...

Finally catch her right side after twice getting her left side. About 1 mile out

Over the school (from my vantage point in the middle of the field as I did not have time to run up to "The Mound"

Dedicated to Cary, Steve, Kaz and all the others who still can;t seem to be "around" when she comes in...

Nice work gentlemen! Sorry I couldn't join you. By the way.........I passed by the the field late this evening and there was a special visitor sitting by the de-icing tent near RWY 13R. It looks like it has Swiss markings, all gray, and it looked like a 757 with winglets as a drove by.

Mark, how are you doing man? How is it going with Mom's estate and such? You got a big hug coming :-)

Dennis, I advise you to be careful at Bayswater as they will close the park with you in it and then it is not easy to find your way out. Besides, would not like to be caught in there late at night with photo gear! Nice pictures of the water!

Manny and Kaz....thanks for asking. My sister and I made all the necessary arrangements, etc.. Will tell you more next time I see you guys. I know this is sick, but I had to step out for a few moments just to clear my head. I decided to make a quick run to take a photo of the special visitor I saw. Taken with a tripod, converted to and HDR, and then some additional post processing. That flood light is a killer to say the least. The reg ID is: HB-IEE
