    KLAX 3/10-3/11/2012

After the airshow was done on Saturday, mysellf and Brandon made the long drive from El Centro up to LAX. Instead of just heading straight to the hotel, we decided to hit up LAX for some night shots from the garage. Then we spend all day at LAX on Sunday before Brandon headed back to Seattle and I headed back to San Diego to catch a flight home the following day. Here are a few of my photos from the day. Unfortunately, heat haze was in full effect and ruined many of the shots I had hoped to be able to post. Instead many of the shots I was able to edit were sky shots.

Many firsts for me on this trip. I still haven't had a chance to edit all my shots from LAX, but I thought I would post some for now.

Anybody remember this guy from JFK the day Jeremy was in town?

Steve nice catches and awesome night shots. LAX for ground shots can be a real killer. Nice catch on the black Air New Zealand and I like the 747 United.

after JFK,EWR, LAX is my favorite place to spot/fly.Then MIA, then AMS,and LEJ.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

Manny, the directions you gave me were good on the way back. I missed the turn off for I-405 on the way up to LA. Ended taking the loooooooooonnnnnnng way to LAX. No, I did not get the China Air Skyteam 747. The only Alliance schemes I got were the CS skyteam 777 and the ANA sa 777.
