I was at Inwood this morning freezing may "nay-nays" off, isn't it supposed to be spring?
Slightly different take
With 26 years of working at LGA I really wanted to capture the flyover at LGA, was to high to get the shot I had hoped but got various shots and views up and down the Hudson plus this one on the flyover of Runway 13 from a dock in College Point. It was fun being able to view about two-thirds of the Shuttle's tour of NYC from our vantage point.

What an epic, historic and chilly morning.

Probably the most incredible aviation experience I have witnessed thus far. One chapter of aviation closes, another begins...

Great shots guys ! I am sooo bummed out that I had no way out of work today to be there
Looking forward to seeing more. Anyone took a group shot of the 75 heads at Bayswater ?
aaaand.....Moose with the tower shot. Perfect.
Count me among the oh.....SIX people in all of Nassau County who didnt get to see it. Not happy about that at all...but happy for those who got to enjoy it.

I got some really great shots of this! I didn't have tickets for the VIP seating, but knew I'd be able to find SOMEWHERE on-site that I could get pics from... what I did not expect was to end up on the roof of the building right next to the runway! Here are a couple of the pics I shot, more will be up on my website later:

From Battery Park. Missed the picture of Enterprise with Statue of Liberty because camera battery died unexpectedly, even it was fully charged last night. Anyhow, it was fun and exciting.
One more thing...in Mooses tower shot, Im not sure...but it looks like the tower is packed with people looking out.
Those are all RAW shots, I really need to take fred up on his offer to teach me photoshop!
Almost too late, I thought to shoot some vid of it taxiing over to Hangar 12:

Nice shots everyone. It was nice to meet a few new people today. Nice talking with you again Moose. Here are a few of my shots, kind of close to Moose's as I was only a few feet away from him:
