Nice shot! I was on my front porch taking a few shots, then as soon as I came inside, I heard that (it was really low). Just missed it!

Interesting angle on that, Eric! When I saw the 748F was expected in this morning, I scooted on out, and settled in at Panera. I didn't hear them on the radio until they checked in with tower for 31L, and by then it was too late for me to get there.

I was worried this was all I was going to see of her, but then we saw she was scheduled to depart in a couple of hours.

It was off to HoBe for the departure.

I took a ride past the triple hangars to grab this guy.

And then there were five...at least until B6 takes delivery of their next planes, I have five to go for the full fleet.

It was good to see a big group out today - Dennis, it was nice to finally meet you, and it was great to see Josh May out spotting, while waiting to go to work on the A380.

Sorry I missed Moose and Jakub and Josh... (and Eric was hiding somewhere ) Good to see Mark, Kaz, Cary, Special Appearance by Matt and finally meeting Dennis!

Only one special for me today as I already had the Cargolux 748. The HoBe Departure will have to wait until I get my D800!

AeroSvit finally graces us with their new c/s

What a day for spotting............the guys (Cary, Kaz, Dennis, Moose, Jacob, Josh, Matt, and Manny) were out and the light was awesome from sunrise to sunset!!! The Aero Svit (which reminds me of an easter egg) was an unexpected surprise. The scheme doesn't really look as bad as I thought it would be (or maybe I'm still in shock)! Cary, Kaz and I made a bee-line from Costco to catch the Cargo Lux 748 arriving on 31L. I'll post some of my photo's shortly.

ugly, really, I think that's one of the best color schemes out there, but what do I know I'm an Uzbek fan too.

That AeroSvit abomination was in on Thursday, as well. Even though I think the c/s is a little garish, you don't need to see any titles to let you know it's Ukrainian, and for that it's done its job as a distinctive livery.
