    JFK - 2/25/2012

I only had about an hour or so of some free time this morning before heading out. Here are a few shots.

Nice shots. What winds today, the planes were bobbing around as they were coming overhead.

Manny is 100% on the mark............I make a few calls (including overseas), and inform them what I'm looking for, and the rest is spotting history :P

I only wish it were that easy. By the way, the early morning light for 31R arrivals is not really that good yet. The light falls mostly on the rear. Give it a few more week's and I think it should be better. The Lufthansa and the TNT were taken from North Woodmere park (near the golf course).

Mark, JFK has always been healthy with Cargo ops... they just happen to be between Sundown and Sunrise

Only one from me today... was out for only a few hours in the afternoon. Met with Eric and Kaz and Conrad hung out for about an hour. I have tried to get this plane for about a year, tracking it and chasing it with little luck. I finally caught it a year ago after much trial and error only to not see it again for some time. Today, just sitting there, snapping most planes that came through... While organizing them at home, I was surprised with Spirit of SF. Spotting is sooooo frustrating at times ... I seem to get accidental breaks like this more than when I am on a mission!
