A rare bird indeed! Not the most flattering angle of the SP unfortunately.

Awesome shot... Awesome angle. "SP" shows it's uniqueness from just bout any angle.

IMO the reason we enjoy this AC is it's rareness and history. To be honest it's quite ugly actually and looks exactly what it is. A 747 put in a trash compactor. When I am lucky enough to be next to them to compare it's not even close to what has the sexier lines. The 767-300/ER or the SP.

    Winning!

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Nahh the SP is an abomination. It looks like what it is, a huge Boeing epic fail.

    That private 763ER is SEXYYYY!

Wasn't the SP built as only a niche aircraft for Pan Am's very long and thin routes? I doubt it was ever expected to be a blockbuster seller in about the same vane as the current 764.

Count my vote for the SP being nice and sexy. While she may not be the "tall and lean" looking girl at the club, she's still that "short girl with bubble butt" that looks so damn good......just sayin.

Iran air too. Depending on who you talk to it was also supposed to compete with the DC-10 and Tristar. Which I couldn't see since I think it cost as much to fly as the full length 100 but didn't carry as many pax. Google it you will get all sorts of facts.
