ALB 2/16 - A little rain and snow

We are all aware that bad weather and aviation photography don't mix. When your day off does not coincide with sunny weather, what's a guy to do?

I had nothing better to do today (except maybe do my taxes) so I offer the following just because I can.

The State Police were hanging some poor schmuck out the door as some part of a drill

A Colgan Saab being taxied to the gate by some guys wearing high visibility vests

Skier 01 doing some practice approaches

Southwest in a hurry to get on with the braking program

Thanks for looking, hopefully my next day off will be on a nicer day!

    Dan

Yes, the 109th is the only unit flying the LC-130 ski-equipped variant.

Since the 2 airports are so close, they often bounce back and forth ALB and SCH when doing practice approaches. That way they don't overly irritate any single group of residents by flying over time after time.
