It was a darn cold and windy day. Thank goodness they were on the 31s, I don't know if I would have braved the mounds. Sitting in a nice warm car felt much better. Photo's to follow shortly.

Wow nice shots! I love that HDR shot - you have a few of my faves in one frame.

Astrojet definitely doesn't come to NY often and when she does, it is not always in great weather or time. I got very lucky last time I saw her at JFK in February 4th since I had missed her on the 3rd :-( She graced us again the next day for me to grab a snap. I saw her twice in one day at KMIA last October but always too far away

Nice catches! Too bad the skies were less than desirable conditions.

Eric, that HDR is one of the best aviation HDRs I've ever seen. Great stuff.

Truly... great HDR... the skies helped :-) I barely made it for the arrival of the F1...

    An arrival before

    The star of the day

A Delta turning left onto Taxiway Alpha off RWY 31R

    EY0101 Pulling into Terminal 4 Gate 5

Cargolu 744. Unfortunately not the 748

And since Eric threw up some artsy stuff, I'll throw up a couple of mine

Could not catch the Astrojet as she taxied way away ...

and F1 turning onto the ramp.

    Manny went and did it!

Was at the Marina just enjoying nice shooting conditions when she popped in. I didn't check ACARS for that afternoon so I was happy to be surprised.

I like it, but why would you take the color out of a subject with such nice colors.

Eric, the reason I picked this one should be obvious It is heavily backlit, the dark side has little data in it and boosting the colors would only push noise ... so I just used the luminance channel in L*a*b

Manny, any artificial blurring here, or did you just stop way down to f/4?

Here are some of mine........even though it was a cloudy day, the sun popped out at the right time. Nice stuff Eric and Manny!

Manny..........thanks for letting me use the lens (here's the shot with it after a little cleanup)
