    A debate on Airline Alliances

I've posed this question to our Boston Spotters group as well and want to see what you folks have to say.
With the alliances dominating the airline industry today, where do you think the likes of past airlines like Pan Am, Eastern, TWA, National etc. would have ended up had they survived.
    Thanks,
    Gene

Pan Am and National seem more to be One World.
TWA is a more of a Sky Team...and Eastern I think would be Star Alliance.

I have to agree that Pan Am seems more like the OneWorld type. I was never a TWA fan, so I will put them in Star Alliance - just because I rarely fly Star Alliance carriers. I used to fly Eastern a lot, and in a lot of bad ways they remind me of US Air - so I guess that puts them in Star Alliance as well. Braniff would be a SkyTeam candidate.
