Nice shots Eric! Great catch on the CargoLux 748. Loving the HoBe shots! Will never turn down a chance to snap pics of the heavies banking of 31L!
Did Air India send a 772? For some reason I feel like I'm used to seeing 77W's. Great catch on the China Eastern A346!
Thanks for sharing!
Here are some of mine (sorry for any dups):
Crazy wing flex!
Awesome stuff! That Air China shot was what I was gunning for last month, but I kid you not, they sent him on 4 just for me a whopping 90 seconds before his departure.
I love it!
One question. I was at the Memorial Park to get some Photos like that but every plane banking to early.. You took those pictures at spot A or B?
Is their any way to get their without car and bike from Lynbrook? My host parents getting tired to drive me around all the time :D

Dennis.....spotting location B (HoBe - short for Howard Beach). One way to get there with paying lots of money for car service, is to take the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) to Jamaica, and then take the AirTrain to the Howard Beach Station. The AirTrain will cost you $5.00 to get on and then $5.00 to get off, plus whatever the LIRR cost you from Lynbrook to Jamaica. You can walk from the Howard Beach Station to spotting location B, it would be about a 2 miles (3.2 Km) walk for 31L departs. The other thing is to post here on the forum when you might go spotting and maybe a spotter will be kind enough to offer you a ride, but more than likely you'll have to make it to JFK some way to make it easier for some one to pick you up (a good location would be Federal Circle on the AirTrain). By doing that you'll save yourself $5.00 as well.
Spotting location E in Howard Beach also as Nick states isn't good for the winter months. It would be a waste of time trying to photograph from there.
Okay thanks for your answers.
To take the train to the airport is no problem. I do that several times.. LIRR-Airtrain
Just let me know if you are going.. That would be help me so much!
My High School year is turning to an Foreign Spotter exchange :D

In all seriousness, if/when somebody learns when Air China's 747s are going to be replaced by the 77w on the JFK route, please let me know. I will try to find some way to get up there and shoot it before the 777 shows up!
Great work as always gentlemen!
wow... just awesome!!
