    Awesome set!

    I google mapped XFW as I was not familiar with it. Does the fact it's on a river restrict the spotting locations? Do the locals mind all these heavies rumbling about?

    Also, how come the EK A380 is not required to bear the German flag unlike the narrowbodies?

    There is only one official spotting location directly at the runway where my pics are taken from. There are also some inofficial spots, one at the other end of the runway and one on the opposite for late afternoon/evening when sun turns over the runway angle.

    The A380s never wear a german flag because they all come from Toulouse (Final assembly line is in TLS) for getting their cabins and colors here in Hamburg. So they haven't a german registration or flag.
