Kennedy Space Center - 10Dec2011 (Endeavor)

While on business for two weeks in Orlando in Dec 2011, I had the opportunity to go to the Kennedy Space Center. I made sure I took the tour that contained a visit to the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building), and was hoping to see one of the shuttles. Below are some of my images from the tour in no particular order. Unfortunately the light wasn't the greatest as you can see. Enjoy

Holy ****. Not many people get that close to a shuttle like that. Very awesome.

Great stuff Mark... Also love the close shots of the shuttle. The indoor photos came out perfect!

The other two shuttles were in another building next to the VAB (Atlantis and Discovery). The image below shows how close the tour group was to the Endeavor shuttle.

Was at the KSC this past weekend and now Atlantis has entered the VAB. Besides Endeavor you can almost touch the wings of the Atlantis shuttle as you walk under the tips. Both shuttles will be there till the end of the month so if you can get to KSC, definitly its worth the money to even be in the VAB. My Atlantis pictuers later today.
