Awesome shot Moose! Great landing, too bad it's sporting the Euro-white color scheme.

Steve, with a nose like that, who needs a better fuselage... besides, have you seen how aggressive swans are? "Camouflage Señor? We don't need no sinkin camouflage!"

Was this guy cleared to land? I didn't hear anything on the radio.

If I thought Sunday was amazing, the Monday was definitely more than I had expected. Having never shot more than 4 or 5 international airlines at IAD and DFW, the variety of traffic I saw just blew my mind. Of course y'all are are used to it by now...

A surprise morning visitor, and a new airline for me

My target for the morning-and we almost missed it by turning on the wrong Mott ave/st

A semi-regular at IAD, but always a treat

    Another IAD regular

Missed this one on arrival the day before

A pleasant surprise before the A380

The man of the hour for Monday

New airline for me as well

The strangely all white China Airlines 747

    Another Saudi

Had heard mention of this one before, and was confused as to when EasyJet had started 767 service...

First China Airlines passenger 747 for me

    A good looking Cathay bird

I had to jump out of a moving car to get this one as Fasil drove by. It was worth it

I had to run like a madman to catch this bird, but I'm glad I did!

Harsh light, but my first Emirates A380 landing on 22L

My first TAM bird, and a special nonetheless

Cargolux banking hard to line up on 13L

    My first Evergreen jet

The only other AeroMexico jet I had seen was bare metal and not white. Livery Change?

    A Delta 767 at sunset

    My first Flagship

And lastly, my favorite shot of the day:

An Etihad A340 drag racing with an airport train. Y'all can probably figure who won...

    Thanks for checking 'em out,

    Nick

I don't know. The AirTrain is automatic and doesn't have to wait for runway clearance. It just...goes.

Thank you both! And Yankees368, you do have a point. You can't make an airport train circle waiting for clearance.

Well, thank you very much again. And yes, a DSLR makes all the difference. I look forward to seeing your shots when you get it.
