New York-LaGuardia (LGA) Daily Notable Visitors Report 2012

    You know what goes here!
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Ok I will start this up. This BBJ is so new no photos of her yet on JP or the Blue site, was in LGA twice last week. It just replaced its Corporate owners Gulfstream G-450 with the same reg, VP-CAE, and she is track-able on flight aware. Below photo was actually taken at BFI after a transcon from LGA.

I like the unique Font for the Reg, tail could use something (anything).

After an unbelievable approach to LGA over ground zero and up the spine of Manhattan earlier this evening, I saw a United 757 parked at the gate. I thought United,s LGA service was down to just Airbus aircraft. Who gets the 757 service??

    LGA-ORD is still 757s twice a day, mixed with A319s, A320s and E170s.

In addition all 3 of UA's LGA-DEN nonstops are 757's.

Delta operated a total of 5 753 departures (3 actual aircraft) at LGA on Feb 6, 2 to IND and 3 from IND bringing VERY Happy New York Giants fans home from the Super Bowl. Here are a few of my shots.

Also Delta has started operating in the last few weeks at least 5 of their new (used) MD-90's that are ex SAS, Nordic Express & Blue 1 and they are running several a day thru LGA ironically mostly on Florida routes (I believe this is temporary). Here is N933DN on Feb 5. Note the lack of engine/APU exhaust stains common to most DL MD-90's as this one had just entered service 11 days earlier.

just saw one of these rolling down 31, not sure on which ship it was or the callsign....

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Can anyone confirm if Jackie Chan's Legacy is still at LGA? N688JC shows landing LGA on 2/21 and no movement since. It's possible he may have had it blocked since then, however if not, this would be a VERY colorful catch for someone.
