A Southwest 737NG (dis)graced JFK yesterday for about 3 hours. Landed on 13L and left on 22R in a hurry right as a nasty storm cell crossed over the north side of the field.

How does that (dis)grace JFK? Any plane is welcome on any airport in my book, especially if I have my camera!

The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

There is only room for one Canyon Blue at JFK in my book and that is tail 536 of JetBlue's fleet. 727, no... It was a troop transport flight... Domestic civil reserve flight.

Interjet A320 made a visit to Kennedy today. Perhaps a trial visit before they commence service in a few days.

While heading out to Baltimore last week (7/23) this 727 was sitting by the de-icing tent. Of course I had to make a quick detour to get the shot. I've seen this aircraft at LGA, but this time it was at JFK.
