Looks like a C-17. There's no TFR posted yet, but it may be a couple of days out, so it wouldn't be listed yet.

No TFR yet but I did get this notice a couple of days ago:

Initial VIP Movement Notice - New York, NY
    Notice Number: NOTC3741

Expect VIP movement May 14, 2012 in the vicinity of New York City, NY. Pilots can expect airspace restrictions in conjunction with this VIP movement.

Oh boy. If AF1 is coming back in to town, I better hide under my bed and not piss anyone off this time.

I've learned a lot since that "incident." That was lesson #1.

Go to where I photographed the shuttle arrival. Good view, not too distant, and never an encounter...

Bayswater? I'm not sure I have the lens for that. I only have a 55-300mm. Will that be enough?

You won't fill the frame, but you'll do OK. I just looked at the EXIF on the shots of the SCA/Shuttle - when the airplane (747 - same size) was directly abeam Bayswater on the approach, I was at 300mm on the lens. I did crop a little, but not much. As he continues toward the airport, you will get a little short, but you should get acceptable photos.

TK flight 11 TC-JJB B777-300 from IST to JFK to arrive with an additional engine mounted underneath the fuselage. Spotted under blue skies over German airspace minutes ago.
    Have fun!

Qatar Amiri A332 arrived last night and parked in front of the triple hangars. A7-HMM is the registration.

There's a Dreamlifter parked at the Atlas hangars. Unfortunately it's not the best day for a photo op!
