Are you talking about the Blue Angels, Ken? They will be staging out of FRG for the week. Probably coming in on the Monday, for the Fleet Week activities then for the air show Friday (practice), Saturday and Sunday.

David Windmiller is doing his pre-airshow practice runs. I love the sound of his Edge.

John, I was just curious where you heard the Blue Angels Fleet Week flight would be on Tuesday because the Blue Angels website schedule still shows their Hudson River Flyover on Wed. 5/23.

The Blue's routinely practice 2x before a show, on Thursday afternoon and Friday. They will be coming up from JSOH Andrews so I would look for them Monday or Tuesday and for the whole team to do a practice flight on Tuesday over the city.

Sorry Chris, my mistake...been hell at work lately and had the wrong date written down. According to the airport though, they are arriving on Monday. Arresting gear to be installed Sunday or Monday. So look for a C-130 a few days before that.

Just got their email today(hate that you cant click through to their website-strange). Anyway, you can buy museum tickets through the website for the Legends of Airpower and Armour Event(May25th-may 28th) at a discount. Tickets can be purchased for the General Admission, Weekend Photographers Pass and VIP packages.

Took my niece last year and she loved it and asked about going again this year. Guess I'll try the Photographers Pass for myself. Anyone knows what added benefits the Photographers Pass has? No detail on the website.

Cool to see the Helldiver and Zero additions to the show this year. Nice.

As far as I can tell, it's simply an all-weekend pass, rather than a one-day ticket. Don't buy it thinking it's going to get you into places the public isn't normally allowed. If I hear anything else, I'll pass it along.

It looks like the F-22 will arrive on the 24th at ISP.

Also the HF flight will now only take place on Saturday.

The Helldiver yes! The 'TORA' Zero is just a T-6 made up to look like one for the movie. Now if they brought back the real Zero that made that private appearence last year? Or the CAF out in CA has a genuine Zero in their fleet, now that would be cool.

To make a TORA Zero interesting it needs about a half dozen of it's stable mates and put on the full show! Now that would be a cool idea. A full TORA demo and a barge of Pyro anchored out in the ocean.
