Really wish the weather would make up its mind. We were more or less committed to going to Jones tomorrow. Now it's looking more and more like Sunday might be the better day. Mother nature is being pretty fickle.

The national weather service, typically has a far more accurate forecast and pegs both days with a 20% chance of thunderstorms. I am also committed to tomorrow seeing as I've got VIP tickets.

Always had wondered about the radiation symbol on the nose. Supposedly it was added to distinguish them from the Intruders on approach.

They were supposed to release a tentative show schedule after the practice show and debrief but I guess that never happened and it still looks like it is pretty much up in the air.

Also was it a spectator that got hit on New Highway today? I saw the emergency lights and I knew it couldn't be good.

Looked like a car traveling N/B stuck a parked car on the east side. At least one was transported

The accident by Dave n Busters was a rear end in the left lane if the parking lot

That is correct - from head on approaching the carrier, it was hard for the LSO to tell the Prowler and Intruder apart, and the heavier Prowler needed the arresting cables adjusted for the higher weight. Prowlers got a logo on the nose - many used the radiation symbol, but some squadrons use a custom symbol. After the Intruders were retired, the Prowlers kept the logos as a morale thing.

Hey...just woke up and there is this weird yellow ball in the sky. Gives off a lot of light. Should I run outside and take pictures of it?
