    11 Days/10 Flights/8 Cities/7 Countries...

    Last trip of 2011 for me. I flew Newark to Houston on one of the newer 800's, N76528. Great new interior and the windows seemed much bigger than the older Boeings. Four hour flight and no entertainment system, definately a let down.

    Making the connection in EZE, not many of these markings in the West;

    EZE on the way to Santiago;

    Shot in Santiago, there were more A320's than 737-200, still nice to see different color schemes;

    Flying down to Concepion, the Andes come up through the clouds like islands in the ocean;

    Not much happening in Concepion, four gates at the terminal, one plane at a time;

    Lots of planes sitting around in Santiago, PAL was one of the more exotic for me;

    Flying from Chile to Brazil, the Andes Mountains views were fantastic, LAN 767-300;

    I didn't get to do much shooting in Sao Paulo, just the usual lately, out of the plane window;

    Unfortunately caught the flu in Brazil. Flew 12 hours 11:30 p.m. departure from GRU to FRA, window seat, flu, slept during the entire flight, cold sweats, never got up once, didn't eat, just slept the entire way. This was taken after landing in FRA;

    Flew from FRA to Amman, Jordan on a LH A320, landed late and only got to shoot a few days later on departure;

    Again, not much chance to do any shooting in AMM, just on departure, L1011's, Nigerian cargo 727, Siberian A310, Libyan A310, Iraqi 727, and a couple of 737-200's from the Iraqi start up;

    Departing LHR, I had an hour for some more window shooting;

    Hope you enjoy,

    AJ

    Nice eye on the IL-96 marking! Also, what was this gargantuan trip for?

    Business trip, clean up of companies that should have been visited throughout the year.

    Possible refers to "Door 2L" Second door on left hand side of aircraft.

    I have to tell you, this is a smart group.

    After reviewing other pictures I tend to agree, it must have something to do with the position of the jetway.

    Found this one;
