    Awesome Go Arounds

One of the most interesting aspects of filming aircraft is the possibility of filming an aborted landing / go around.

The chances of you being at the right place at the right time is small, but every now and again, you manage to catch one or two or three.

These first two go arounds were filmed on the same day (4 July 2009) at London Heathrow Airport....

    Air Canada Boeing 777-300ER

    British Airways Boeing 747-400

This 3rd video shows a Lufthansa A320 making her 2nd go around before landing successfully on her third attempt. The plane kept encountering windshear as she attempted to land.

Listen carefully to one of the other observers explaining what he would have done had he been onboard

    Thanks for watching!

My favorite is still this one. I guess he was in a hurry to depart.

    S-turns approved for spacing...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
