KJFK 11/24/2011 Thanksgiving Holiday Spotting

What a day! This was one of those days where we just enjoyed the spotting and 'clicked' few shots, not that it needed any attention. Whatever came our way got etched in image. Heres few quick ones....just cropped only to fit forum size.

Kaz, Mark, Joe was a pleasure to spend the morning and afternoon.

"Springbok 201" about to end the loooong journey (with AA 75 on the Right side )

Runway change was bitter/sweet.... bitter (&*%%^&) cold....and SWEET Korean

With wind it had to be close to 10'F! @ Bayswater for 04 R arrivals.

Cathay's HKG "milk run" flight CX841... spooling them GE's 90 for 04L lineup

And its my fav airline and flight sector

OPS obliged with a runway change just in time when heavies were headed home
And the "banking" prize goes to.....

#3... SPRINGBOK 200

#2... KE 082

#1... JAL 005

JAL almost always takes top spot....IMHO

Wish I would have been able to head down and hang out with you guys and meet some new faces. Unfortunately I was tasked with the duties of cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Maybe next time....

And of course.....great shots. No doubt that JAL get the top prize.

Great day of shooting and hanging out with everyone yesterday! First time I spent the entire day at Howard Beach and can't wait to head back up in a couple of weeks.
