    Though unofficial until December 1st, JetBlue and WestJet appear to be the winners of an auction giving them rights to add flights at LaGuardia and Reagan National Airports. Edward Russell reports.

    With Southwest cutting flights at ISP, I would have thought they would be a player in the bidding for some of these slots?

    They probably did bid, but we only know the winners right now. Seems the losers don't necessarily want to talk. FAA will identify all the bidders on Thursday.

    Oh, and with the acquisition of AirTran, Southwest now has about 27 LGA slots if I'm not mistaken, which might explain why they weren't super aggressive.
