Certification question re: 748i and 787 w/GE engines

Perhaps our crew in Seattle can take a shot at this. Is there any word on when Boeing expects these two to be certified?
    Thanks,
    Gene

The 747-8I flew its final certification mission on Halloween, and the GEnX 787 flew its last one in early October. Barring any problems, I'd expect the FAA to approve them in the coming weeks.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
