AA flight 587 10 years ago today

today marks 10 years since AA flight 587 crashed in the Rockaways shortly after takeoff from JFK bound for Santo Domingo. The aircraft was an Airbus A300-600R N14053. It took off from runway 31L and cought some turbulance from a JAL 744 that took off before it, the plane lost control due to pilot error over falsing the rudder by the co pilot which made the rubber break off the aircraft and it sparrowed down and crashed killing everyone on board and some on the ground.... RIP to the victums

I also remember them pulling the wreakage out of the water and my very first thought was, where's that tail???

RIP to the victims. everybody learned from that incident and everyone made sure it will not gonna happen again..
