    Some random navy pics

Hey guys, just thought I'd share a few randoms I've taken over the last few months. I apologize about the image quality, I left my camera back in NJ and these are taken from my phone. Thought you all would enjoy seeing these though.

My ship, the USS Simpson (FFG-56)

    Underway, looking aft.

    Sunrise at sea.

A Seahawk doing some pattern work.

The navy's newest commissioned ship, the Spruance, seen here stopping in Mayport on her way down to Key West for her commissioning ceremony.

The John L. Hall gets underway.

One of our Fire Scouts. Perhaps the biggest pain in the rear since the penicillin shot.

A rather pretty skyscape off the coast of Colombia.

Finally, the Halyburton just after coming back from deployment at sunset.

That's all for now... we'll be out for the next several months so expect more later!

so the MQ-8 is not the next coming of christ?? seriously it's time to keep the pilots in the flying thingies....
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
