Yes..........definitely needs all the help he can get! LoL

Kidding aside, that is slick. Now if they could come up with something to remove heat haze and heat shimmer we'd all be set.

I have a feeling I'll be kicking myself over all the slightly-out-of-focus shots that I deleted, but were otherwise nice pictures.

Sounds more like this works for motion blur (camera shake, etc.) not a focus problem.

Oops...yeah, that's what I meant...my shots that are messed up from what I think is IS-smearing. I'm too nervous about what Manny is going to do when he sees this

Hah, is that scanned in from a slide?

Of course, I wouldn't "poke fun" at Manny if his photos weren't top notch.

You guys are kind... My pics really do suck. You may not believe this, but I am usually looking up to other's picture quality and trying to copy and mimic as much as I can. I am so new to all this that I am learning as I go still.. have a lot to learn from the pros :-)

And Cary, NO... for your information, that is a REAL digital capture. This would happen to me out of the blue and I believe is down to technique. My 200-400mm is a heavy lens and on a crop sensor is subject to being exposed if the slightest motion blur occurs. This is what people talk about with super high density sensors ... pixels are so close together that airy discs (yes, that is a real term) will cover quite a few cells and cause the Bayer algos to place the same spot on the subject across multiple sites instead of resolving to one. Aggressive low pass filters (anti-moire) don;t help much either ...
