    KLAX 9/14/2011 (IMAGE HEAVY)

I got to spend a few long wonderful hours at the Proud Bird Restaurant in the south side of LAX last Wednesday - unfortunately before I could head over to In-N-Out for spotting, the marine layer came back in and ruined it - but - I did get a lot that I had never shot before..here are some of them - excluding all the United's, Skywest's, etc (with one exception - the B744). The B762 is an interesting one - never seen or heard of this one before....

Loving the TN and that private 767
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Nice images Mark.......ditto on the light. When I was in LAX I didn't have much luck with the sun either. It figures...........the day I was departing back to NYC, it made a grand appearance.

Thanks everyone! Manny - yes - my first shooting LAX - I was at the Proud Bird Restaurant on Aviation Blvd for pretty much the whole day - got there around 10am - left at 3:30pm when the marine effect brought the clouds over again - it was a perfect day - and I only had one day to shoot - so I was lucky!.

For me - there was so many unique things - the Skywest E120s in all colors - Skywest RJs in all different colors too - one even still in the old Delta-Flot scheme - I saw so much going out that I couldn't shoot because of the fences - AA Pink Ribbon 777, Korean A332, China Southern A346. LAX really is unique. Of course, all the stuff that went to the north side as well - Alaska, every 77W except the Cathay and Turkish that came to the south - LAX is definitely unique!!
