    WTC Warbird FlyBy

Looks like they opened the airspace around the WTC since the President left, heading for Shanksville, Pa. ABC has Newscopter 7 flying and they just showed a flyby, south to north, of a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. It was N3193G from Yankee Air Force Inc out of Michigan. Great shot from the helo.
Any info on how these aircraft got clearance to fly? Thought airspace closed unless PD or military.

The TFR doesn't stop traffic over the rivers, they just can't be over Manhattan itself

As Bill said, they are at TEB for the air show this weekend, probably selling rides.

Thanks guys. I would have thought with all action going on down there along with the heightened security they would have closed the Hudson Corridor until the ceremony was over.

We were at the Intrepid when it went over, going North up the Hudson. It was directly overhead and I had a 12-24mm attached so...my picture stinks.
