Locations for Photographing the WTC Tribute in Lights

I've photographed the World Trade Center Tribute in Lights from a number of vantage points over the past few years. If you are planning to go out and are looking for a place to shoot from, here are some ideas of what you will see. Please feel free to ask if you need more information...

    Brooklyn Bridge Park

    Jersey City

    Liberty State Park

North end (on a rainy, foggy night)

    South end

    Staten Island

    Lower Manhattan

Those are some great and very moving images Moose. I can just feel the emotion flowing especially from the last one. Excellent work.

Does anyone know the hours of the Tribute to Light? It was online last night for a short time, but by the time we got into Brooklyn (maybe 830ish-9?) it was shut down. Any info would help - as always, thanks guys!

They usually come on at dusk, and should be lit overnight until dawn. What you saw was likely a test of the lights .
