Dang it, Manny I thought that was you- I only met you the one time at Panera so I wasn't sure if it was you or not, sorry for not saying hello

I was on a mission to find something, anything, from the late Highland Express. That is my Holy Grail. But there was nothing. One model vendor swore he had seen a model of "The Highlander" years ago. Another person who had worked in cargo at EWR remembered them and blamed People Express for its demise. So I settled for a 1/400 scale 747-200 in the Boeing "Combi" red white and gold livery.

Also picked me up Just Planes #3-JFK 1993 on VHS(so old it doesn't even have any graphics on the sleeve, only an aircraft listing) and what might possibly be the last issue of Airliners magazine(according to the guy who sold it to the current owners). I had wondered why I hadn't seen it in the stores for a while. Plus a kickass Flying Tigers T-shirt.

    Great show once again.

I enjoyed the show as well, did seem a little smaller though than the last few years. Did have a very nice surprise on the drive home. Northbound on the New Jersey Turnpike just NE of Teterboro, a B-17 past overhead, I presume from the Wings & Wheels Expo their !
