CYUL Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau Intl. 8/25 (31 Images)

Decided to make a quick hop over the border to get a sample of some Canadian spotting.

24R is amazing in the afternoon; unfortunately, I didn't have enough light by the time I got there. Some very interesting catches the 15 minutes I was there.

Saw this just as I was leaving :/.

The next day I headed over to 24R again (24L is closed for construction until mid-September). The overcast layer was actually to my benefit; the sun would have backlit the aircraft if it weren't for the light-diffusing clouds. I was not able to stay until the afternoon, unfortunately.

The clouds cleared and the sun came out. Usually welcomed, but not so much in this case.

    TSC296 departing to Cancun.

TSC374 off to Santa Clara, Cuba.

    TSC568 to the Dominican Republic.

Lastly, two from CYQB (Québec City Jean Lesage Intl).

Nice catches Mark..............spotting Canadian style must be sweet, and not worrying about security (I think).

Mark, I love how you say a "quick hop" over the border :-) Unless you flew, even from Albany it is quite a hike!

Love the variety... very nice... looks like afternoon sun is superb there.

Great stuff Mark! Looks as though it was definitely worth the trip. I think I'm going to go get my passport one of these days so I can jump over the border on a whim like that.
