Korean Air A380 Arrives in NY

Nice seeing everyone who was out today for the less then stellar weather and somewhat uneventful arrival :-)

I had my son and his friend with me, both 12, and didn't feel like having them get eaten alive so we went to Inwood when we heard them using 4-R. Funny thing they switched to 22-L for the Luftansa A380 twenty minutes or so later.

Well, they are coming from Germany... you wouldn't wanted to have to make a huge circle around Sandy hook would you? LOL. JFK caters to their traffic, winds usually notwithstanding. I was sitting at Panera when they switched. After that, I ran through the T1 ramp from T9 to see her at the gate and then decide if they were looking like they were on time for a 2:00pm scheduled departure or not. If they were, I would have stuck around... but they were :30 minutes late (announced) and turned out to be much worse. Glad I left...

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Matt- great work! I feel like that third to last shot may actually make me see some sort of beauty in that otherwise obese biotch.

Great job gentlemen!!! I wish I could have joined you all, but all this traveling is kicking my lower cheeks. I wish you all had more favorable skies, but there'll be plenty of other opportunities.

Great shots Matt, Manny, and Eric. It was late when I got home last night so I didn't get to any of my shots yet. I will throw some up on here later tonight when I get home. I'll do my best not to duplicate any shots.

Nice coverage guys, too bad the weather sucked. Although, sun at 12 o'clock high might have been worse.
