Broadway Mall in Hicksville holds a weekly car show during the summer. On several nights, a friend of mine (president of the local civic association, among other things) holds a special fund-raiser with the show, bringing in special guests. Last night was Law Enforcement Night, with proceeds going to the Hicksville Boys & Girls Club. Over 150 cars came down, a record turnout for the show.
Nassau County PD's Bureau of Special Operations brought down their armored truck.
This car - and its owner - were "interesting".
NYSP brought down "The Convincer" seat belt demonstrator.
Nassau County sent along some horsepower of a different sort as well...
